At System Six Kitchens we recognise the need for everyday appliances to use less energy and be less harmful to our environment. Where possible, our designers will always recommend appliances with energy ratings of ‘A’ or above.
Back in 2016, in an effort to reduce the company’s energy consumption, we replaced all the kettles in our showroom, offices and factory with Quooker boiling water taps, a change we have not regretted.
Not only do Quooker Fusion taps dispense hot and cold water like any other tap, they also produce 100 degree centigrade water at the twist of a button. There’s no need to wait for the kettle to boil, simply fill your cup directly from the tap. Quooker taps use less energy than a kettle to heat the water and you only use the amount of water you require.
With no need for a kettle, you gain space on your worktop - perfect if you are creating an uncluttered, minimalist kitchen.
Boiling water taps don’t just save time when making a coffee, they speed up other everyday tasks such as sterilising baby bottles, boiling water for pasta and cleaning chopping boards.
Planning a child-friendly kitchen? The Quooker Fusion tap has the perfect child-safety feature. In order to allow boiling water to flow, a button must be pressed twice then twisted. These actions are quick to achieve but cannot be done accidentally.
