JOB VACANCY: SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR

With over 45 years of experience, System Six Kitchens is a family-run manufacturer and retailer of stylish, bespoke kitchens and bedrooms.


The ideal applicant for this exciting and varied role will be highly motivated and organised, with a real flare for writing engaging content across social media platforms. They will be enthusiastic, work well as part of the Marketing Team and be able to work to a brief, adapting their work to suit each of the company’s six different brands.


 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Content Plan - Create imaginative and impactful content ideas that align to our brand identity and marketing objectives. Research industry-related topics and co-ordinate the rolling Quarterly Social Media Content Plan.

  •  Post - Create regular engaging, visually stunning social media content including graphics and videos with compelling written copy tailored to each brand and platform (mainly Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn via a scheduling platform). Produce visual content independently, as well as collaborating effectively with our graphic designer and external photographer.

  • Trends - Stay up-to-date with social media trends, audience preferences, and competitor activity to inform our content strategy and enhance performance.

  • Case studies - Carry out project case studies, independently and/or alongside a professional photographer. Interview customers and colleagues and incorporate their views. Capture photographs and videos of kitchen installations at different stages, enriching our visual database. Kitchen case-studies will take place off-site in customer homes or property development.

  • Visual database - Maintain a visual database and summary sheet. Ensure accurate documentation of kitchen attributes, standout features, designer details, and customer names to avoid misinformation in posts.

  • Engage - Engage with our followers, respond promptly to comments and messages, and cultivate a sense of community to strengthen brand loyalty and drive conversions. Respond to Google and Facebook reviews. Liaise with the Customer Service Team on customer complaints and queries received through online channels

  • Track - Analyse social media metrics and insights to evaluate performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations based on data.

  • Paid - Co-ordinate paid campaigns (Meta and LinkedIn)

  • Training - Provide social media guidance to our wholesale customers so that they can grow and optimise their own social accounts.

  • Team Player - Collaborate with the Marketing Team on campaigns and support activities beyond social media, such as research for ABM campaigns (experience not needed, training will be given).

  • Proof - As part of the Marketing team, proof internal and external communications

  • Events - Assist with product launches and promotional events

  • Other admin tasks as necessary


 

 Requirements


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt your tone and style for different audiences and platforms. Please note, excellent written skills are fundamental, training will be given on tone of voice.

  • Proficiency in photography, videography, basic graphic design and video editing software. (e.g. Canva)

  • Strong customer service skills and experience of responding to customers.

  • As this is a customer-facing role, it’s important that candidates are personable, customer-focused, and maintain a professional appearance in all interactions.

  • Be able to use initiative and prioritise. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proofreading and editing skills

  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.

  • Familiarity with Keyword Research and SEO practices.

  • Proven ability in idea generation and an analytical mindset to interpret data for strategic decision-making.

  • Experience of Google Adwords and analytics would be preferred.

  • A team player attitude is a must 


 

Reporting To: The Marketing Manager 

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Pay: £24,000.00 per year

Education: A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience: Social media marketing: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
