ABOUT US

With nearly 50 years of experience, System Six Kitchens is a family-run manufacturer and retailer of stylish, bespoke kitchens and bedrooms.

We’re a close-knit, creative team with big ambitions and a fast-growing Marketing Department. We’re now looking for a Digital Graphic Designer to join us – someone who’s equal parts creative and technically skilled, with a flair for digital design and a strong grasp of evolving web best practices.

This is a varied and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organised designer, confident working across Wix, WordPress, and the Adobe Creative Suite. The role involves working across seven brand identities and supporting digital marketing content, with a strong focus on website design and management.

THE ROLE

As our Digital Graphic Designer, you’ll report to the Graphic Design Lead/Marketing Manager and take ownership of the design, maintenance and development of eight websites. You'll be the go-to person for web visuals, updates and improvements, while also supporting content creation for social media, email marketing and occasional print needs if cover is required.

You’ll work to a brief, adapt designs to different brand styles, and thrive as part of a collaborative and supportive team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Website Design & Management

  • Design and manage websites using Wix and WordPress

  • Update content, imagery and layout across eight websites

  • Create new landing pages, banners and on-site graphics

  • Ensure a consistent and engaging user experience across all sites

  • Monitor site performance and troubleshoot layout or formatting issues

  • Optimise websites for mobile responsiveness, speed and SEO

  • Align website updates with overall marketing strategy

Digital Content Creation

  • Design engaging assets for email campaigns, digital ads and social media

  • Produce/optimise short videos or animations for web and online use

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to bring campaigns to life visually

  • Provide guidance and templates to support wider content creation

  • Occasionally support print design tasks when cover is required

Project & Content Support

  • Manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and propose fresh ideas

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience designing and managing websites – e.g. via Wix or WordPress is essential

  • A strong digital portfolio, particularly with web and UI design examples

  • Ability to manage and update websites independently

  • Solid grasp of UX principles, responsive design and accessibility

  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Strong attention to detail and visual consistency

  • A team player with great communication skills and a solutions-led mindset

NICE TO HAVE

  • Basic HTML/CSS understanding

  • Experience using Premiere Pro and After Effects

  • Experience using Canva

  • Familiarity with SEO plugins, analytics or CMS customisation

  • Good copywriting and proofreading skills

  • Confidence with Google Analytics, tagging and tracking tools

WHY JOIN US?

  • Competitive salary and benefits

  • A creative, collaborative and supportive working environment

  • The opportunity to shape the digital identity of a respected and growing company

  • A varied role with scope to grow, learn and develop new skills

  • Room to make your mark – we value ideas and fresh thinking

Sound like a good fit? We’d love to see your CV, a portfolio of recent work, and a short cover note telling us why you’re interested.

Apply by Monday 12th May – we're excited to meet the next creative mind to join our team. We may close applications early if we find the right candidate, so please do apply as soon as possible.
