DUO-TONE KITCHEN
These customers came to us with the vision of upgrading the kitchen they already had whilst retaining the character of this beautiful Devonshire home. Take a look at how Anna created this timeless shaker kitchen.
THE BRIEF
When the customers approached Anna Coles, one of our talented kitchen designers, they knew they wanted to keep the original shape and layout of the kitchen as they wanted to keep the oak flooring already there. It was also important to that the kitchen reflected the rest of the home, mainly the wood elements such as the extraordinary wooden beams and oak flooring.

THE RESULT
The finished kitchen is a beautiful space created using our Purley shaker door in Deep Forest and Natural Hickory, with Ammonite Tuscany worktops from Steve Bristow’s Masonry. The Purley door is the perfect real-wood shaker door to create the countryside kitchen feel without ageing the space. Included in the addition of the tall cabinets is the angled walk-in corner larder that, because of its height, has added levels of food storage and, with built-in electrical sockets, perfectly conceals the microwave. Tucked neatly into the island, you will find four real wood chopping boards and tray sets, and on top of the island, you can see the addition of the butcher’s block, which Anna chose as they add real wood elements, which is in keeping with the customer’s request and adds warmth to the space.
