KITCHEN DESIGNED AROUND EVERYDAY LIVING
Following a full renovation and extension, this kitchen was redesigned to maximise storage, improve flow, and create a sociable space for modern family life.
THE DESIGN
The design pairs Linden Aluma Taupe Grey base cabinetry with White Chromix tall and wall units, creating a soft contrast that keeps the space feeling light while still grounded. The addition of brass rails introduces warmth and a subtle architectural detail that runs consistently across the kitchen.
Quartz Ammonite Calcatta Oro worktops wrap the room, delivering a seamless and durable surface that enhances the overall palette.
The layout centres around a peninsula, designed to bring people together. It creates a natural divide between preparation and social space, while also incorporating open shelving for easy-access storage.
Appliances have been carefully integrated, including a full suite of NEFF appliances with a venting hob, alongside a wine fridge and Quooker boiling water tap for added convenience. Layered lighting, positioned beneath wall units and around key working areas, enhances both functionality and atmosphere.
THE RESULT
The finished kitchen is calm, cohesive and highly functional. Every element has been considered to improve how the space is used, from hidden storage solutions to carefully planned zones for cooking, cleaning and socialising.
The balance of materials keeps the design feeling modern but not stark, while the layout ensures the kitchen works just as well for everyday routines as it does for hosting. It is a space that feels effortless to use, yet quietly detailed in its execution.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS PROJECT
LEMANS CORNER STORAGE
Designed to make the most of corner cabinetry, the LeMans unit allows pots and pans to glide smoothly out of the cabinet, making even the deepest spaces easily accessible.
HIDDEN UTILITY CABINET
The washing machine is seamlessly concealed within a tall cabinet, with a bespoke cut-out shelf above to allow for detergent storage. This keeps the space visually clean while maintaining practicality.
HIDDEN PULL-OUT TOWEL RAIL
Positioned beside the sink, the integrated pull-out towel rail keeps essentials within easy reach while remaining completely hidden when not in use.
GLAZED DISPLAY CABINET
Just outside the kitchen, a push-to-open glass cabinet with black framing and warm LED lighting creates a striking display feature, adding depth and a subtle transition between spaces.
