HERITAGE DETAILING AND MODERN FUNCTION
Our designers, Carly and Ben, worked together to create this stunning multi-room project. Designed by the System Six Kitchens team, this beautiful bespoke kitchen in Mid Devon perfectly balances classic design with modern functionality.
THE KITCHEN
When the homeowners purchased their Mid Devon property during the Covid era, they set out to completely transform it, creating a welcoming home tailored to modern family living. The kitchen, designed by Carly, sits at the heart of this renovation.
Featuring Saltram Shell cabinetry paired with a Deep Forest island, the design strikes the perfect balance between soft neutrals and rich, dramatic tones. Every detail reflects thoughtful craftsmanship, from concealed hinges and elegance skirting plinths to the Patinated Brass Quooker tap and Belfast sink, which lend a timeless, handcrafted feel.
High-performance Neff appliances, including an induction hob, downdraft extractor, Slide&Hide oven and micro-combi, ensure the kitchen performs as beautifully as it looks. Together, they create a seamless, modern cooking experience that complements the traditional design.
One of the standout features is the tea cupboard, complete with sensored LED lighting, a touch of everyday luxury that enhances both form and function.
THE WALK-IN PANTRY
The walk-in pantry provides a seamless transition from the main kitchen. You enter through Saltram Shell doors, while the cabinetry inside is finished in Holne Mussel, creating a subtle contrast that remains visually harmonious. This dedicated storage space is both practical and beautifully detailed, offering the perfect environment for organised living and ample room for everyday essentials.
THE BOOT ROOM
The boot room was designed by Ben and completes this multi-room project. Featuring Saltram Willow cabinetry, concealed hinges and matching plinth and pelmet detailing, the space echoes the refined aesthetic of the kitchen.
Functional yet elegant, this area offers the ideal transition between indoors and outdoors, combining practical storage with a polished finish. The addition of Holne Mussel cabinetry and an Oak worktop enhances warmth and usability, ensuring the bootility is as hardworking as it is stylish.

The addition of oak open shelving brings a sense of charm and personality to the kitchen. Perfect for showcasing cookbooks, ceramics or glassware, it makes the space feel welcoming and lived-in, while maintaining a clean, timeless aesthetic.
BESPOKE BAMPTON DOORS
Our bespoke Bampton doors are made to measure, ensuring a precise fit and flawless finish. The solid construction and painted surface provide lasting durability, while the subtle detailing of the Bampton design adds depth and character to any scheme.
HIDDEN BREAKFAST CUPBOARD
This hidden breakfast cupboard maximises functionality without compromising on design. The worktop extends into the cupboard, creating an integrated space for frequently used items such as a toaster and cereal containers, keeping them accessible yet discreet.
FAMILY BOOT ROOM STORAGE
This boot room storage solution combines functionality with elegant design. It offers dedicated shelves for footwear and hanging space for outerwear, providing a practical, organised entry point to the home.
