What began as the renovation of a single room soon evolved into the complete transformation of this beautiful home nestled in the Devon countryside. As each space was updated, the homeowners decided to continue the journey, with the kitchen and utility becoming the final stage of the project.

Designed by Richard Parnell, the brief was to create a kitchen that would suit the demands of busy family life while providing a welcoming space for entertaining friends and family. Finished in our Shaldon shaker door in Reed Green, the cabinetry introduces a soft, natural tone that perfectly complements the surrounding countryside and fills the home with warmth and character.

A generous central island sits at the heart of the room, providing extensive storage, additional preparation space and a sociable seating area that naturally encourages family and guests to gather. Finished with elegant Valencia quartz worktops, the island combines practicality with a clean, contemporary aesthetic.

The kitchen is equipped with a suite of Neff appliances, while a Quooker tap adds everyday convenience by delivering instant boiling water. Bespoke oak cutlery trays keep drawers organised and maximise storage, ensuring everything has its place without compromising the clean, uncluttered design.

Just off the kitchen, a beautifully coordinated utility room continues the same design language. Purpose-built cabinetry surrounds a stacked washing machine and tumble dryer, with a clever pull-out shelf positioned between the appliances to provide a convenient surface for resting laundry baskets or folding washing. 

Matching cabinetry and worktops create a seamless transition between the two spaces while adding valuable storage for everyday household essentials.
