As part of a major renovation project, the homeowners wanted a kitchen that would feel spacious, beautifully detailed and practical enough for busy family life. A key part of the brief was to incorporate a separate utility room without interrupting the flow of the kitchen, creating a clean and uncluttered living space while keeping household essentials hidden from view.

Richard Parnell designed the kitchen using our Purley shaker door in Mussel, creating a warm neutral palette that complements the light-filled open-plan space. Decorative cornice and moulded skirting plinths add traditional character, while durable quartz worktops provide a hard-wearing surface suited to everyday use.

A generous central island forms the heart of the kitchen, featuring elegant V-groove end panels, integrated seating and additional storage. An integrated fridge and freezer, pull-out larder and integrated wine fridge ensure every inch of space is utilised efficiently, while a Quooker Pro3 Fusion boiling water tap adds convenience for everyday cooking and entertaining.

One of the standout features of the design is the cleverly concealed entrance to the utility room. Positioned discreetly to the left of the tall cabinetry, the hidden walk-through blends seamlessly into the kitchen, with bespoke wine racks built into either side of the opening. Beyond the concealed doorway, the utility room provides extensive storage, open shelving and matching quartz worktops, creating a highly functional secondary workspace while maintaining the clean appearance of the main kitchen.
