A COHESIVE HOME
From kitchen to utility, through to the bootroom and bar, every space has been thoughtfully designed by Anna Coles to feel connected, considered, and quietly luxurious. While each room serves a different purpose, the materials, detailing and craftsmanship tie them together into one seamless experience.
THE KITCHEN
At the heart of the home sits the kitchen, designed in Saltram in Stone by Anna Coles. Soft, warm cabinetry is paired with Spider Gold Quartz worktops, creating a palette that feels both timeless and refined.
A large central island anchors the space, offering generous preparation space while naturally drawing people in. The island houses a downdraft Elica induction hob, keeping sightlines clean and uninterrupted, while maintaining high performance for everyday cooking.
Storage has been meticulously planned. A hidden bespoke pantry, complete with spice racks and integrated LED lighting, keeps essentials organised but out of view. Integrated refrigeration ensures a streamlined look, while dishwashers positioned either side of the sink enhance practicality and flow.
Design detailing elevates the entire space. Chamfered posts, skirting plinths and cornices give the cabinetry a furniture-like quality, while OG-profile worktops, upstands and window sills add depth and craftsmanship. Brass handles with back plates provide a subtle contrast, catching the light without overwhelming the design.
THE BAR & ENTERTAINING SPACE
At the far end of the kitchen, the space transitions into a striking bar area, designed in Purley in Painted Canon Black. This darker palette introduces contrast and atmosphere, creating a dedicated zone for entertaining.
The Black Fusion granite worktops, finished with a mitred edge, bring drama and texture, perfectly complemented by a mirrored splashback that reflects light and adds depth. Open shelving and bespoke glazed units provide a place to display glassware and bottles, turning storage into a feature.
Functionality is just as considered as the aesthetics. The bar includes a dishwasher, integrated fridge, and a Quooker tap offering boiling and sparkling water, making it fully equipped for hosting. Behind the seating area, built-in shelving offers practical alcohol storage, while a coffee station ensures the space works from morning through to evening.
THE UTILITY & BOOTROOM
The utility room, finished in Purley in Mussel, continues the home’s soft, neutral palette while prioritising practicality.
Cabinetry has been designed to wrap seamlessly around an American fridge freezer, maximising every inch of available space. A walk-in corner larder adds substantial storage, ideal for keeping the main kitchen clutter-free.
The Spider Gold Quartz worktops and upstands mirror the kitchen, reinforcing the cohesive design language. Cornices and skirting plinths carry through here too, ensuring the utility feels like an extension of the main space rather than an afterthought.
Designed in Purley in Graphite, the bootroom introduces a deeper tone while maintaining the same classic shaker styling seen throughout the home.
On one side, a bespoke coat area features a bench with storage beneath, framed by v-grooved panelling and wall-mounted hooks. It’s a practical solution that feels intentional and well-crafted.
Opposite, full-height cabinetry provides ample storage for everyday essentials, keeping the space organised and clutter-free. As with the rest of the project, skirting plinths and cornices ensure a consistent, furniture-inspired finish.
