This kitchen renovation was designed to make full use of the available space while retaining the room’s light and open feel. Lily O’Sullivan created a practical U-shaped layout, providing generous preparation space, accessible storage and a natural flow between the key areas of the kitchen.

Shaldon Painted doors in Cardamom introduce a muted green that brings warmth and character to the room. The framed door detailing adds a classic influence, while understated handles keep the overall look clean and contemporary. Natural light from the windows highlights the cabinetry’s soft colour, complemented by pale flooring and crisp white walls.

Quartz Ammonite Calacatta Oro worktops and matching upstands provide a bright contrast to the painted cabinetry. Their delicate veining adds interest without overpowering the room, creating a balanced pairing with the Cardamom doors. The worktop extends around three sides of the kitchen to provide generous preparation space, with the sink positioned beneath the windows.

Practical storage plays an equally important role in the design. LeMans corner units make the deeper reaches of the cabinetry easier to access by bringing stored items out towards the user, while pull-out bins keep everyday waste neatly concealed and maintain the uninterrupted appearance of the cabinetry.

The appliance specification includes a NEFF hob, dishwasher, ovens, fridge, freezer and extractor, supporting everything from everyday meals to more involved cooking. Dark accents from the hob, extractor and tap add definition against the softer finishes, introducing a subtle contemporary contrast.
