Job description

With 50 years of experience, System Six Kitchens is a family-run manufacturer and retailer of stylish, bespoke Kitchens. Due to expansion, the System Six Contracts Team are looking to take on an additional Employed Kitchen Fitter, to dry-fit our high-quality Kitchens into New Build Properties.

As part of the role there will also be an expectation to complete remedial and customer care work as and when we are required to do so.

We are specifically looking for Installers who already live in Devon or Somerset, candidates who do not reside in these counties will not be considered for the role. Please note we are seeking to bring on an installer in an Employed capacity, this is not a subcontracted job ad.


Responsibilities

  • Dry-fitting high-quality Kitchens to an exceptional standard in New Build properties

  • Completing remedial or snagging work with optimum care and attention, ensuring we fulfil our customer care obligations for each scheme.

  • Working closely to plans and measurements provided to you by the Project Team, demonstrating a proactive and hands-on approach to help overcome obstacles where the design may need to alter.

  • Always demonstrate a professional and friendly manner as the face of the business on site as well as when in customers’ homes post completion.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, be able to communicate and report on any issues whilst conveying plot updates at the end of each day to the Contracts Team.

  • Ensuring plot sign off forms and photos are captured on every Kitchen and where required, Kitchens are fully protected before moving onto the next job.


Requirements

  • Live within a commutable distance of HQ, Exeter EX2 8QP where often material needs to be collected from.

  • Must be willing to travel across to our various sites locations which include but are not limited to the following: Exeter, Somerset, North Devon, Bristol and Dorset

  • Already hold an up-to-date CSCS card (Minimum Standard: Blue card) if not this will need to be obtained prior to starting.

  • Access to own vehicle preferred, company vehicle available upon completion of successful probationary period.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience Installing Kitchens into New Build Developments

  • Appropriate insurances and examples of completed work and references

Permanent contract

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 - DOE
