JOB VACANCY: KITCHEN SALES ORDER PROCESSOR

With over 45 years of experience, System Six Kitchens is a family-run manufacturer and retailer of stylish, bespoke kitchens and bedrooms.

As part of the order processing team, you will be responsible for converting quotes into orders for our wholesale and retail customers, liaising suppliers to confirm stock is ordered in time for delivery and providing excellent customer service and maintaining fantastic supplier relationships.

 

Responsibilities

  • Providing extensive product knowledge where required

  • Assisting in onboarding of new customers by building strong, long-lasting relationships through delivering excellent customer service

  • Maintaining strong bonds with fully fledged customer to solidify longevity with their custom

  • Creation of quotes, printing and amending of quotes for confirmation

  • Conversion of quotes for customers to orders

  • Obtaining delivery site access information for orders and relaying to transport

  • Filing of quotes and orders

  • Supplier Liaison

  • Purchase Orders – Printing, Checking and Sending

  • Working with all departments to ensure back orders are worked through, and obtained with urgency

  • Drawings (For specials, to attach to orders)

 

Requirements

  • Impeccable attention to detail

  • Kitchen Industry experience is desirable

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature

  • Ability to work to deadlines

  • Experience in using Hansa ERP would be advantageous however not essential

Salary: Starting from £24,000 to £26,000, depending on experience

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, 09:00 to 17:00.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate: Exeter, EX2 8QP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
