With over 45 years of experience, System Six Kitchens is a family-run manufacturer and retailer of stylish, bespoke kitchens and bedrooms. As a Machine Operative, you'll play a crucial role in the efficient and effective production of our kitchen units.



  • Working on a number of different woodworking machines essential to the production of our units.

  • Ensuring the quality and what comes off of our machines is to the high standard that we set ourselves.

  • Pitching in where required and multi training on different machines to be used for sickness/holiday cover.



  • Machine Working Experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Positive can-do and muck in attitude to team work

  • Basic maths skills

  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills

  • Attention to detail

Salary: £9.75 Per Hour.

Rate of pay: £9.75, then quarterly pay reviews based on performance, rising to £10.03, £10.28, £10.53 and full rate of around £11.09 after 12months.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts

Daytime Hours: 7am - 15:30pm

Ability to commute/relocate: Exeter, EX2 8QP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
