We visited a few other companies but their choice was limited and there was little scope for variation. We wanted to lower our microwave and change the positioning of our oven and the only company we found who could do that was System Six. Anything we wanted was done, nothing was really a problem and we thoroughly enjoyed working with System Six because of that.

THE DESIGN

We were considering taking a wall down so we needed to see what it would look like. System Six's design package allowed us to see the finished article from various angles, which was a great help. Now the kitchen is in, it works. You can put a nice kitchen in your home but you wonder whether you've got it right from a design point of view but it actually works for us."

Brook is perfect for those seeking a clean, minimalist design. Without the intrusion of handles, Brook kitchens are uncomplicated, promoting a calm environment.

THE PROCESS

We went to the showroom and looked at some of the door styles available, all the layouts and finishes. We told the designer what we wanted incorporated and he came back with various options. My overall concern was the organisation of the work as there was plenty to be done â€“ lighting, electrics, plumbing etc. The designer said he would project manage it, so everything would be looked after by System Six, which really eased the load on my mind. As for the fitting, there were no problems. The delivery arrived on time and the fitter just got on and did the work. Paul (fitter) came up with some good suggestions on the positioning of door handles and even did a few extras like replacing some skirting board. His experience of fitting kitchens showed in the work that he did.
